Indian Institute of Technology Mandi is one of the newer Indian Institutes of Technology, established in 2009 by the Government of India. Despite being a relatively young institution, IIT Mandi has quickly built a reputation for excellence in education, research, and innovation.
Situated in the picturesque town of Mandi, the campus is spread across the Kamand Valley along the Uhl River, offering a peaceful and eco-friendly learning environment. The institute is officially designated as an Institute of National Importance.

MODE OF ADMISSION
Candidates must qualify the JEE (Main) exam and then appear for the JEE (Advanced) exam.
Candidates must secure at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class XII OR be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in their respective Class XII board examination. For more details, refer to the JEE Advanced Performance Criteria in Class XII.
Admissions are based on the rank obtained in JEE (Advanced) through JoSAA Counselling.
